A careful closing protects your pool through a shore winter and makes the spring opening much easier. Just Pools LLC has closed and winterized pools in Brigantine, Ventnor, Margate, Longport, Ocean City and Somers Point since 2010.

We balance the water for winter and clean the pool, then lower the water level as needed. Next we blow out the plumbing lines and plug them so freezing water can't crack them, and we drain and protect the pump, filter and heater. Finally we install your cover. We're an authorized Merlin safety cover dealer, so if you want a safety cover, we can measure and install one.

Shore homes have their own challenges. Salt air keeps working on equipment all winter, and many homes sit empty for months, so nobody notices a problem until spring. A proper closing, plus an honest look at your equipment's condition, helps avoid surprises. If we spot wear or a part that's starting to fail, we'll tell you so you can decide whether to fix it now or in spring.
